This Southpac International Introduction to OHS Management Systems Course has been specially designed to provide participants with the essential skills required to understand and audit OHS management systems. The course provides an overview of the regulatory requirements for OHS as well as the standards used to manage them including the AS/NZS 4801 Standard and how to apply it. The course will also help participants to understand OHS aspects unique to their specific industry and how to integrate their OHS management activities with other regulations affecting their industry.

This course forms part of the Diploma of Quality Auditing. Upon successful completion of the course and all assessments, participants will receive the following units of competency:

  • Risk Mitigation & The Hierarchy of Controls
  • Evaluation & Improvement of the OHSMS
  • Managers, Team Leaders & Supervisors who have a part in the OHS roles and/or responsibilities within their workplace or who are looking to implement an OHS Management System
  • Safety, Quality & Compliance Managers in an operational environment who are responsible for managing their OHS compliance, whilst controlling and managing existing OHS risks.
  • Lead & Internal Auditors looking to expand their knowledge of OHS Management Systems.
