Media Release – Southpac International Group and SIA join forces to contribute to safer workplaces
Southpac International Group, provider of quality and safety management systems and human performance training, have partnered with Safety Institute of Australia as a new diamond corporate member.
Southpac International Group is a leading provider of safety training with a particular focus on human and organisational performance underpinned by supportive leadership and effective management systems.
Andy Shone, CEO of Southpac said “Southpac has a long history of supporting the improvement of safety in the aviation industry, now through Southpac International our services are growing and extending to other industries as well. All of our activity is dedicated to improving not only safety practice but more importantly the working lives of the people we serve, that’s something we share with the SIA. We strongly support the work of the SIA to build the profession, and we want to be a part of that particularly through sharing of new ideas and generating conversations.
SIA CEO David Clarke said “we’re really pleased to have Southpac as a partner for two key reasons: Firstly, they have a strong background in aviation safety and a desire to share their knowledge in other sectors. A part of our role is to support the cross-fertilisation of ideas and learning between different areas and industries. Secondly, they share our commitment to supporting professional development in healthy and safety. We intend to work together in the year ahead to bring leading edge international speakers to Australia to discuss new and emerging trends in health and safety.”
