Southpac launches Lead Auditor Course for all industries

Southpac’s renowned Lead Auditor training is now available for all industries.

Southpac has been running Lead Auditor courses for the aviation and aerospace industry for more than 20 years. Hence why, we are the preferred provider of Lead Auditor training for clients including Qantas, Virgin Australia, Toll Group, Boeing, Airbus, Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and the Australian Defence Force.

As management systems specialists, we recognised a gap in quality Lead Auditor training in other industries outside of aviation. For this reason, We aim to develop and deliver this highly sought-after Lead Auditor course to all industries in response to this emerging need. But particularly in other safety-critical industries.

We are excited to announce the launch of Southpac’s Systems Lead Auditor Course! Providing nationally and globally recognised Lead Auditor qualifications to the general industry.

What’s new about this Lead Auditor Course?

Many aspects of the Southpac Systems Lead Auditor Course are similar to those of our aviation-specific Safety & Lead Auditors Course. However, we have taken that course’s successful learning elements and made it more relevant for participants from other industries.

The highly interactive course has many practical elements to drive home learning. Like all facilitated Southpac courses, there are Face-to-Face and Virtual delivery options. Even within our Virtual course, plenty of practical exercises and role plays keep participants engaged and informed across the five days.

Who should attend?

The Systems Lead Auditor Course is suitable for anyone from any industry in the audit and assurance field. It is, however, aimed more at those within safety-critical sectors. Therefore, it is ideal for those in transport, utilities, construction, mining, petrochemical, resources or oil and gas.

The knowledge that participants gain and the skills they learn can be applied in any systems assurance role in any industry.

Is it nationally accredited?

Yes, on completion of the course, participants will receive 4 units of competency that are nationally recognised and contribute to the Diploma of Quality Auditing, as well as other nationally recognised qualifications.

The course also includes 3 Exemplar Global competency units, which provide the first step in becoming a certified Lead Auditor with Exemplar Global.
